A Kore space is a collaboration tool for a set of users who share an interest, to communicate and share information with each other. Kore spaces combine the exciting features of collaboration, message control, and Bots, to provide an advanced, secure, and simple method to communicate with friends, family, and colleagues.
Be it communicating with your workplace colleagues, or communicating with your book club members, you can use Kore spaces for communication in both company and personal Kore accounts.
If you are a user with a personal Kore account, you can create a space to get started with accessing spaces, or you can accept any pending space invitations.
If you are a user with a company Kore account, you can browse or search for Spaces on your Kore app by tapping Browse all spaces on the Space screen. Enter keywords in the find-as-you-type Search Spaces field, to search for spaces that are enabled to be visible to all company Kore users.
Note: If you are a company Kore user and are unable to access the spaces and rooms, do not worry. The Kore Enterprise Administrator for your company may have setup Application Roles to encourage you to use Kore only on specific channels, or to use only specific features of the Kore Messaging Platform. For more information, see Application Roles.
On the Kore web application, click SPACES on the left navigation bar to browse spaces in your company.
Space home screen
The space home screen is a central location for you to access Rooms, Chats, and Files sections of the app.
On the Rooms tab, you can view all the rooms inside the space, and on the Chats tab you can view all the direct messages exchanged with space members. On the Files tab, view all the files shared inside rooms you can access.
Tap Manage to view options to mute the space, view members of the room, invite new members, and to view the space owner.
Note: The options displayed in the Manage < Spacename > screen depend upon your role as a space admin, owner, or member.
The Kore web application has a similar space home screen layout. You can view and add rooms on the Rooms tab of the space panel, and you can view and create chat messages on the Chats tab of the space panel. You can view people, bots, and room settings by clicking Manage at the top right corner of the screen.
